Lori Anni Wardi, vice president at NeuStar Inc. and the co-founder and former vice president of business development at .CO, is scheduled as a speaker at NameSummit 2017 being held on Aug. 7-8 at the Hilton Midtown in New York City. .CO revolutionized domain extensions with the development and introduction of the .co extension that has made it possible for the global branding of the online presence of organizations and businesses.
Lori’s work at .CO included persuading big brands, such as Cisco, Amazon, and Google to incorporate the .co extension into their online presence. Her work with start-ups helped obtain commitments from companies such as 500 Startups, Angel List, The Founder Institute, Launch Conference and The Startup America Partnership to make use of the .co domain extension.
Her journey to becoming a pioneer and innovator in online branding took an unusual career path. A cum laude graduate of Brooklyn Law School with a Juris Doctor, Lori practiced labor law for five years before moving on to Goldman Sachs as global manager for organizational and career development in its technology division followed by CEO positions at Pebble Alley LLC and Dream Big Media Inc.
