It was a bit a bit of a slower week for brandable domain name sales as we saw only two sales reaching five figures. Those names were Fasi.com which changed hands on NameJet for $11,100 and TravelHacker.com, an expired domain name from 1999 that went for exactly $10k on GoDaddy Auctions. Before you wonder why a two-keyword brandable would sell for that much you have to understand what “travel hacking” is all about. It is best described as the art of collecting frequent flier points and miles to get free flights, hotels, tours, and more. Many people do it and many people search for travel hacks online.
Here’s this weeks list:
Please do keep in mind that these are the highest sales that have been reported at NameBio et al. This list is meant to help give you insights and is nowhere near complete as many sales are kept private and the major marketplaces specializing in brandable domains do not report their sales. Some domain name sales might not have been paid for yet.
If you know of any recent, verifiable brandable domain name sales please do let me know so I can include them in next week’s report.
