Domain investor switches brand from to

Aron Meystedt is a familiar name in the domain name business. He owns the oldest-registered .com domain name and works with domain names at Heritage Auctions.

Meystedt revealed today that he’s rebranding his investment business from to

Earlier this month I wrote about selling for $18,995 on NameJet and noted “What a great brand this will make for a food related business.”

But Meystedt had another vision: was perfect for me – it’s simple to remember, it’s a generic word and it represents the beginning of the entrepreneurial process for the people that I am supporting – the back of the napkin business model that many of us have sketched in the past.

This is what I love about domains like this. They can become a brand with a connection to so many different images.

Switching to also makes it easier for Meystedt to sell, a very valuable domain name.
